SRCR Education and Training Support (SETS) Grant
Objective To promote research ethics and the responsible conduct of research in accordance with the TCPS, and/or the RCR Framework.

Grants are awarded to help defray the cost of organizing events such as educational conferences, workshops and related activities.

All events must promote and advance the understanding of the TCPS and/or the RCR Framework.

Events must engage one or more of the following: researchers, research ethics board members, administrators of eligible institutions, or other communities or groups involved in the application of the TCPS and/or the RCR Framework to their activities.

All expenses related to the proposed event(s) must be in accordance with the Agencies’ guidelines.

Eligibility The Principal Applicant, who assumes administrative responsibility for the grant, must be affiliated with an institution eligible to administer Agency funds.

  • October 1 (for events occurring between December 1 of the same year, and March 31 of the following year).

Up to $25,000.00 per grant. Amounts in excess may be considered if well justified, for example, events with potential for significant participation and impact beyond the event itself.
